Details: Chief Communications Officer VACANCY #:GM062012-3 The Cape Fear Public Utility Authority is seeking a professional and talented leader to oversee and coordinate public relations and public information for CFPUA in internal and external communications. Additionally, this position functions as a liaison with stakeholders and other interested parties to promote strategy and solutions for the CFPUA service area; and serves as a key advisor to the CEO and Board; Oversees the internal and external communication functions of CFPUA, to include community and stakeholder outreach coordination. Supports budget, projects, goals and policies and plans. Works closely with the CFPUA Board, management and stakeholders to facilitate comprehension and compliance with ordinances, policies, and plans. REQUIREMENTS: B.S degree in marketing, planning, business management or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
