Responsibilities:Executive Leadership Works in collaboration with other leaders to facilitate and promote the ongoing cultural transformation of the hospital and health system, in line with our mission, vision and values Identifies and maintains the appropriate financial, quality, and system metrics that guide decision making Actively engages in community interaction via participation in service clubs, speaker’s bureaus, etc. Fiscal Leadership Accountable for the development, preparation and execution of the operating and capital budgets Collaborates with peers to exercise overall budget control Presents the operational and budgetary programs to the CEO and boards of directors Identify, plan and execute activities and programs to effectively achieve financial targets. Human Resource Leadership Identify and maintain mechanisms to ensure adherence to our standards of behavior by all employees, including physicians and other clinical staff Promote culture of employee empowerment Hire Department Directors, and approve the selection of department managers, to support the needs of the organization Performs employee evaluations of direct reports, including other C-Level employees Reviews performance evaluations of indirect reports as needed Oversee employee development, coaching and mentoring programs to promote a positive culture, and for capacity and succession planning Supports practices regarding employment, compensation, recruiting, retention and promotion
