Details: HVAC Chief Position #118389 Facilities Management at the University of Maryland, College Park seeks an experienced senior HVAC mechanic to coordinate and perform installation, service, repair, and operation of a wide range of complex residential and commercial/industrial HVAC equipment. This position will act as primary contact with University researchers and staff for the HVAC equipment in a complex of buildings housing laboratory and office space for the Departments of Physics and Astronomy and the Institute for Physical Sciences and Technology. Position is Essential and subject to 24/7 span of operation. QUALIFICATIONS: HS diploma or GED; a valid Class "C" driver's license or equivalent with fewer than 6 points; and Universal CFC certification required. HVAC Journeyman license preferred.
