This senior level position will be responsible to own all aspects of successful launch and ongoing implementation of various existing and new products within the post-secondary education and training space.  You will provide overall vision as you innovate, build, launch and evaluate products offerings which will meet the needs of employers in various markets in order to provide training to our students and drive revenue and profitability. You will lead product from idea/conception through product release and beyond.Key Job Responsibilities • Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of the overall market, the competition, our market position and value proposition.• Serve as the internal and external evangelist for the product, own responsibility for updating existing programs or creating new product offerings as necessary to match the needs of employers in the geographic markets in order to serve the needs of those employers and our enrolling students. • Drive and maintain the strategic product roadmap, balancing input from all support functions while maintaining deliverable commitments. • Maintain a complete and updated understanding of key competitors, their products and services, strategies, tactics, value propositions, performance, and impact on the company's strategic direction.• Own communication for updates and evolution of the product to campuses and students as well as all departments in the organization. • Own collection and analysis of all key metrics, and regularly deliver updates and proactive product response plans to senior management. • Lead multifunctional teams in product definition, requirements gathering and development. Develop and implement an integrated product launch by channel. • Profit/Loss management - Prepare product forecasts to include revenue and expense expectations, including initial pricing. Support forecasts and budgets with appropriately detailed marketing plan.• Work cross-functionally to manage bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints, and maximize business benefit while building great student experiences. • Leverage Lean Start-up principles to test assumptions via rapid prototyping.Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree (B.A./B.S.) • Demonstrable experience as a product manager; in leading a start-up/operating a business; or experiences that indicates ability to be successful in the described role. • A demonstrable history of passion for driving a product process forward in the face of competing interests and ambiguous business challenges is required. • Enthusiastic; committed; and, a can-do attitude. • Excellent organizational skills. • Strong relationship building skills. • Strong facilitation skills; ability to 'negotiate' and direct discussions across a diverse group of participants; experience in driving consensus, ability to communicate sensitive information tactfully. • Strong analytical skills (modeling, statistical analysis). • Able to accomplish goals through persuasion and influence rather than positional authority • Exceptional follow-up and responsiveness skills, self-managed, and independent
