Details: Classification:  Controller - Plant Compensation:  DOE Our client is looking for an experienced business consultant with a strong cost/operations/accounting background to help them set up the processes surrounding their costing. They are a start up company who recently started generating revenue. The candidate will work with the plant operations in two local areas to determine the proper flow of information needed to account for the inventory/revenue. They will be identifying best practices for tracking Cost of Goods Sold, Information Flow, Bills of Lading and PO System selections. The candidate will also be reviewing/documenting and implementing processes and procedures. Qualifications for the role: Deep understanding of Cost Accounting, manufacturing operations, Cost of Good Sold and best practices in accounting for new manufacturing operations. A CMA/CPA with excellent system skills and communication is required.
