Assistant Vice President, Branch Operations Facility Management

Details: BASIC PURPOSE To support the Vice President, Branch Operations Projects and Training by providing multidisciplinary leadership and direction for the planning, development, execution, and operation of branch facilities to achieve strategic, operational, fiscal goals and objectives. To deliver branching strategy that supports and aligns with corporate and departmental strategic goals. To anticipate and reconcile challenges and opportunities for financial services retailing to ensure Navy Federal’s branching plan remains high quality, economical, and sustainable into the future. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES   Oversees branch real estate portfolio activities; including site selection, site analysis, feasibility studies, maintenance and on-going operations, lease and purchase negotiations, and disposition of real property. Ensures delivery of strategic and tactical branch projects through solid business practices Identifies, assesses, and mitigates project dependencies and risks by ensuring they are effectively managed Manages fiscal resources, including development of and compliance with, multi-year budgets that support the achievement of goals Measures project and program performance against established budgets, schedules, and quality control standards Establishes quality control standards and metrics associated with real estate design, engineering and construction to achieve greater energy efficiencies and fiscal economies including but not limited to: signage, materials, finishes, lighting, furniture, merchandise positioning, layout, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, accessibility, environmental impact, art, way findings and equipment Ensures appropriate controls are in place to ensure compliance with all financial, regulatory, and safety requirements Leads ongoing visioning efforts for branching strategy, design, and innovation, while ensuring alignment with key business objectives Assimilates industry trends and best practices, analytics, and continuous process improvement into branching strategy Develops organizational capability and inspires team to achieve business goals through confidence in leadership and teamwork Identifies and communicates key responsibilities and practices, evaluates results, and provides leadership through coaching, counseling, and guidance for ongoing and future developmental needs of the team
