A roofing company that would establish a new blueprint for success and lead the industry in the new millennium.At Tecta America, we are Roofing Redefined.Primary Responsibilities:Control and direct oversight of all functions related to the financial, managerial and administrative, marketing, sales, design, project management, fabrication, installation of the roofing construction operating unit(s) of Schwickert Company. Specifically, this refers to low-slope and steep-slope commercial/ residential roofing, and architectural sheet metal operations in New York.Financial Prepare and manage annual budgets and forecasting for the entire roofing operating group Develop and maintain revenue and earnings forecasts quarterly and annually Develop and monitor sales revenue and margin forecasts with the SVP of Sales and Marketing  Development and all project manager(s) reporting directly to this position, including for this position Maintain annual expenditure budgets effecting all roofing operations Prepare and monitor annual capital expenditure budgets Maintain sound and efficient inventory levels Maintain company policies and oversight, as related to purchase order management, accounts payable and payroll activities Monitor invoicing procedures, accounts receivables, collections for all roofing operations Remain focused on safety, risk and loss management practices, surety and insurance issues and claims Maintain sound and profitable pricing strategies Maintain focus on maximizing operating profitability Managerial Represent Tecta in a professional manner, promoting the organization in a positive and productive discipline, maintaining a leadership example to others. Work with other operating departments to promote cooperative sales and production Interact with field personnel on disciplinary issues and customer relation efforts Field customer questions, complaints, and requests.  Promote a sense of involvement, motivation, and team effort among all group personnel Maintain and enforce company policies and procedures Administer and oversee employee reviews, employment practices, and promotion programs Develop, maintain and monitor apprentice training programs to enhance opportunities for all employees     Sales Leadership Work with the SVP of Sales and Marketing, project managers and sales staff to  developing leads, sales efforts, and promoting the services of the Company Establish and maintain a productive portfolio of clients to assure that individual (developed by this position) sales and margin goals are achieved Actively participate in all efforts required to pursue business development opportunities including client generation and maintenance Participate in company-wide sales initiatives, customer appreciation outings and assist in monitoring the efforts of applicable employees involved in such efforts Oversee, develop and participate in all proposal generation efforts Lead weekly sales meetings Project Management Oversee and direct efforts of the superintendent(s) on all aspects of project management, including scheduling, production, and quality control Work with individual project managers to assure project management procedures are implemented Participate, monitor and develop efficient estimating systems and related efforts Develop and maintain project budgets, acceptable project-financial management systems and aggressive change management policies Review purchase orders, contracts and subcontracts to assure that company policies are not compromised. Maintain and manage self-generated projects Work with prime contractors and subcontractors on all phases of projects including pre-qualification, negotiation, contract management, schedules and coordination, change order management, submittals, quality control, etc. Operations Oversight Oversee day-to-day production, maximizing revenues by monitoring labor and material costs Implement productivity initiatives adopted by the company Conduct weekly productivity meetings with lead project managers, superintendents and foreman Oversee monthly foreman meetings to strive for open communications and increased employee moral Oversee and monitor project profitability, schedules, manpower, productivity with each project manager Oversee and maintain all company safety and personnel policies Strategic Planning Attend monthly Senior Managers’ Meetings, working to accomplish common goals, establish sound business practices, develop new initiatives and address issues concerning to the overall Company. Research, pursue and work with senior management to develop new business initiatives and opportunities Research, investigate, and participate in growth opportunities through both organic or inorganic means  Professional Maintain knowledge and understanding of all codes, building practices relating to the respective trades participating at Tecta Participate in continued education programs that will enhance both the Employee and the Company
