Our client supplies these products as well as technical experts to various locations around the world. We are seeking the services of a President / General Manager in the US operation to join their team. The individual will be responsible for leading the move into the US market. As this is a new move for our client it is imperative that the individual can quickly orientate themselves to the Completions business.Description:The President / President / General Manager's responsibilities will be as follows: General management and supervision of all operations within the region Develop strategy and implement initiatives for the expansion of the business into the US market Establish and maintain strong relationships with industry peers, major corporate players and customers Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement Monitoring product standards Liaising among different departments, e.g. suppliers, managers Supervising and motivating a team of workers Reviewing the performance of subordinates Provide input into the design and testing of existing and new downhole prototype tools Assist in QC (quality control) of incoming and outgoing product Working with managers to implement the company's policies and goals Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followedQualifications:The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: Education: minimum of a business degree or equivalent, an MBA would be considered an asset; consideration will also be given for qualified candidates who do not meet the above education requirement, but have equivalent experience. 10 plus years in management, with experience in providing strategic and operational planning and implementation. Experience and connections with end users in the oil and gas industry is considered a must; Superior management and leadership skills; Strong knowledge of industry best practices, operations safety and the ability to provide strategic, innovative solutions when issues arise; Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to develop strong customer/client relations and a track record of developing long term relationships; Self-starter and proactive individual with strong business acumen and has the ability to use judgment and creativity to appropriately relieve potential job problems; Good computer skills with strong working knowledge of Windows operating system, Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems; Experience in a fast paced production and manufacturing environment; Experience in the oil and gas industry is considered a must; Including, but not limited to exposure to oil and gas well completion tools; Great work ethic and brings a positive attitude; Ability to work under pressure
